i think ps2 has more problems, but i still like the games more, but xbox definatly has way better online play, sony didn't do a good job with theirs, but between the two i do like ps2 more.

As for problems the ps2 far out number the xbox. The Xbox has had one problem and this a powercord issues which there has only been 10 problems out of like 1million units. Where as the playstartion has had MANY lasers miss up,the new PStwo are overheating, the psp's in japan had a recall for the [] button sticking. But PS2 also has GT4. The only reason i play it lol find my ps2 emulator that actully works/runs good frame rate and i'll never touch it again. But all and all they are all good.

Yah not everbody has had the problems but those are isssues that a quarter have had. on the most part most ppl will go the entire life of a console without a issue. Here's the brain teaser if microsoft and make a console so good and stable then what the hell is up with windows??? LOL

no there's been more problems with xbox than just that, i've know someone that had some kind of problem alot like the disc read error, it just never loaded discs, it would just stay on the welcome screen of the xbox, but then he tried modding it, and it fixed it

i'm talking bout confirmed problems that have called for recalls or possible recalls. Somthing happening on a more mass level then a few indviduals.

My friend's Xbox was doing that. We just opened up the DVDRom drive and cleaned it out. There was so much dust and dog fur in there I was amazed that it worked even 20% of the time.

the only problem my ps2 had was due to a little 2 y/o trying to play Super Smash Brothers melee in my ps2 when it was standing verticl. it ended up messing up the lens adjustment. i've earned 50 bucks fixen ps2 disk read errors and shit already. that's 5 ps2's at 10 bucks each it's only a 5 minute job for me so i don't care how cheap i do it for
