Well I filled my gearbox up to top fill hole on my b16 with 10w-40 which is what it calls for. I was just wondering.... if you look to the left behind the Axle shaft there is a bolt that looks like another bolt for a fill hole. Then underneatha lil to the right is a drain plug. Does anyone know what that is for? I remember when I put my axles on red fluid came out so i would claim this is tranny fluid? Its a 5 spd manual. Thanks for your helps guys.

i was under the impression that the top hole on the left was to fill the tranny, and the one to the lower right with the square key on the bolt was to drain the tranny. If not, i dont know what the hell ive been putting oil into:eek:

yeah that is to the gearbox. my clutch slips at times but I drove all day today (even to go get my new *custom* exhaust) and it didn't slip at all. I filled the gear box all the way up but if you look really close look right behind the axle on the b16 there is another fill hole sorta thing. and right below the axle to the right is another drain hole. I have no idea what that is for and I remember when installing my motor red fluid came out of that tranny. I have no clue what that other hole is for. Any input people?
