Any one know where i can get a good set of lowering springs, i'd like to go lower than 1.5", i think 2" would be more appropriate

n e one heard of intrax springs
http://www.drivewire.com/performanceparts/intrax/fordthunderbirdloweringsprings.html

why do they make the front lower than the back, the rear is already higher than the front, what gives?

.2, I dont think that much really matters.

BTW, I have Intrax springs on my car. They lowered it about 2+" They're pretty good, and the fact that their much cheaper then Eibach, and I get a lower drop, just makes it that much better...

Heres a b/a comparison..

CamarroSSboy346 How much did it cost you to drop your bird(not labor)? And hows the ride after the drop?

Your right it does take a special kind of retard to fix up a bird!, I'm one of them.

uhm, 18x9's might be pushing it. With my 16x7/225's fully turned lock-to-lock, I have about an inch of room before the tire rubs the inner fender well.

I had to replace a few parts, since my bushings were worn out. I replaced ther upper control arms, and sway bar end links. With all that, and the springs, the ride is much firmer.

I got the Intrax springs from summitracing.com. They cost $219, or something around that + shipping. (FYI, labor was free-did it myself)
