This is why its bad to let your car sit for a few days, you get ideas and then you just rip your car apart and do it -- so maybe its a good thing :)

Also in the middle of painting of additional things -- like my speaker grills and also that big piece of plastic where your like shins are... why? I dunno I know you dont see it while sitting normally in the car, but I know its there -- plus its practice for a MUCH larger project and I want to make sure I have this whole process down -- the blue is actually a candy blue, silver metallic base coat... white, is just a glossy white :D

And getting the vents out are easy -- except the passenger side main vent, everyone breaks that one!

you're probably right =) Just with center dash vent reflection on the windshield, you can't really see the bottom of the trunk, sooo what else was I supposed to think?:flipa: :D

Pretty cool. My friends have been telling me about problems they've had with light colored paint on top of their dash. They say the reflection off the windshield makes it hard to see out the window (which that first pic hints at).

Its not a problem, honestly... it only becomes a problem if you like, do the WHOLE top of the dash. Doesnt bother me a single bit...
Also for the top middle vent, just took two screw drivers and popped the damn thing out. Im good at vents, im always popping them out to install speakers (well not vents but the stock speaker grills are the same damn way) Just pop it off I guess -- and if you break it... super glue the broken joint, sand it back down and spray over it -- no one will ever know
