Belt Tensioner '97 3.0 liter

Can anybody tell me the easiest way to remove the Belt Tensioner on a 1997 caravan v6 3.0liter.

If I remember correctly, you need to remove right front tire as well as the plastic splash shield. Of course, you need to remove belt. If you are reusing the belt, then mark the direction on it. You need to put it back on the same way it came off. The tensioner bolt can be accessed from the wheel well. Good luck!

just remove #1 spark plug wire at spark plug then use a 15mm swivell socket and an extension approx 10"-11" long and away you go don't eaven have to raise vehicle oh!! remove belts first

Your reply was PERFECT advise. You really know your stuff. The van has 110,000 miles and the little issues keep cropping up. Wish I had somebody with your knowledge living next to me.
