Car keeps overheating

My car keeps overheating. I had problems with my thermostat a couple of months ago. Then I had a leaking hose, so replaced most of them. Then I just recently replaced my thermostat again. I have a very small leak. Would this cause my car to keep overheating? Please help.... Someone...Anyone....

Make sure you have all the air out of the system. Air will cause the water pump to not properly circulate the water and cause it to overheat. Also make sure the coolant level is proper. If your car has a regular radiator cap then leave the cap off and run the car until the upper hose is hot, meaning that the thermostat has opened. If there is any air in the system that will allow it to come out. You will see a drop in the coolant level. If you don't have a radiator cap, then there is a pipe plug on the thermostat housing that you can remove that will allow the same thing. Other than overheating, is the engine doing anything else that may indicate a bad head gasket? That can cause an overheating problem too.

:uhoh:Flush Radiator, check your electric fan if you have one by slitting small piece of power lead plastic housing from black with red stripe wire to the fan ,attach a wire to the area you stripped away from the black and red wire. with key off and touch other end of wire to positive side of battery. fan will come on if it is working, if it doesnt come on then replace electric fan.also check your coolant sensor which is located on outside of thermostat housing.if your fan is working, replace relay on firewall for fan

if its a god dam its the water pump i paid $500 for mine like 2 years ago~! :loser:

what area of the engine is the small leak?
