Fluctuating Idle RPM Plz Help

I have a 1993 Altima GXE and just got a Secret Weapon R Intake installed yesterday. Now my car has fluctuating RPMs when i stop. Between 500-700ish.

I think there is a leak with the intake cuz i could even pull the pipe out of the hole. I've pushed the pipe all the way back in and evrything works but my idle RPMs are weird.

Do you guys know how I can secure my intake and fix my RPM problem? Thanks.

its possible that the engine is getting too much air now, if you can check your air fuel ratios and make sure they are somewhat near standard, and make sure the 02 sensor is setting up accordingly or it may be sending the wrong numbers to the ecu causing you to either run rich or lean.

Not Likely...u Probably Missed A Vacuum Line, Or Your Car Needs To Get Used To The Intake...an Intake Wouldn't Affect The A/f Ratio That Dramaticly...just Double Check All Your Lines...and If Thats Fine...give It A Week Or So

Listen for a whistling noise under the hood, its a dead giveaway if there's a vacuum leak.

Another thing is to pull all off your spark plugs and see if any oil is getting into the spark plug holes. The seals on the valve covers are quite tempremental and the slightest lift of the seal can allow oil to flow in and kill the cylinder. If this is the case its usually pretty obvious, the spark plug boot is usually 1/3 covered in oil.

Pull the plugs themselves out and check those. The added air could have also affected the plugs and caused one to burn too hot on initial startup as well.
