porsche wash

Hi all

I just bought a Porsche 944 S2 (1989) In Italy and have a few questions that I will spread over several topics

This is one of them:

I went to the car wash and had my black car washed with hot wax throughout; I afterwards discovered some little spots (kind of “more clear” black) that I think weren’t there before.
I’m now panicking that the hot wax might have discoloured some parts of the car body.
Am I being paranoid or is it possible that this actually happened?

And…….. when the car has to be washed is it advisable to go to a car wash or would it be better (more safe) to do it myself?
