I've been reading up on the Aquamist water injection system and it looks pretty complicated. I want to put it on my car but im not sure of the install and what system to run? I was curious as to how hard the install is and which one to use? I heard that the Aquamist1 is the best for and non stand alone car. help!

I have the aquamist 1s system.
It is fairly simple to set up.
*You need to tap a hole for the injector in the pipe after your intercooler.
*You need to buy a reservoir for the water.
*You need vac/boost pressure from the manifold to go to the actuator in the system that start the pump.
*You need electric to the pump
The acutator comes pre-set to 10 psi of boost which is where I keep it.
After 10 psi it starts spraying.

oh that does sound simple i might need to ask you a few more questions in the future. I will probably get this in about a month. thanks for the help. Oh i have a couple more questions. How long does it take to empty? And what do you use water or a mix of water and methanol?

How much can you expect to pay for labor on an install like this? Just curious.

I use 40% methanol and I only use as an anti-freeze (it gets cold here).
Your best results will come from using 100% water.
As for how long it lasts I have no clue.
I use a 1 gallon junior dragster fuel cell (see my mod list with photos), but I keep a 5 gallon fuel container in my garage with a 60/40 mix and I top it off every time I drive the car. It is not a hassle.

You have the 1 gallon container mounted in the rear trunk what are the possibilities of mounting something similar in the front boot under the plastic? Or is that to far of a way to plumb the line? Will the pump be strong enough? Thanks

I think it would be too far away ... I would want the shortest possible distance. If you look up the WI kit for the MR2 made by "Joeo" on mr2od, he uses a much smaller reservoir and it is thinner so it does not invade the trunk as much as mine does.

Im using NX N-tercooler system cooled by CO2. Mount the 10lb bottle in the rear trunk together with the N2O 10lb bottle. Very useful since Im living in a hot humid climate. Only problem is that the CO2 doesnt last longer than the water cooled.

Yea i thought anout the NX system but water injection is much more of a anti-detonation system
