Stalling out

My 96 stalls out when i rev the engine too high in park... is that normal??? and is there any way to change that. It idles at like 500 rpm's...??

how high are you revig the engine?

if i go anywhere near 2-3000 rpms, i have to ease it back down or it will konk out. If i go any higher than that it just gargles and shuts off at 3000.... it happened to me yesturday. I was trying to show my brother my exhaust and when i hit about 3000 it stalled

it also idles at 500 give or take a few, it always stutters and the whole thing shakes a little... kinda annoying

Fuel filter ever been changed?
