Does anyone have any ideas on getting a replcement key for a 3 series or is this a dealer item only? My battery is fairly new but the door unlock button has become so worn it doesn't function anymore... the trunk and unlock buttons are fine though... suggestions?

Dealer Only I Think!
Was looking at getting another key for my car and was told that if I want a new master key it would have to come out of Germany.
Wasn't cheap either.

I'm going throu the same thing about ordering a key.
start off with $130. your titel, ID and vin #
thats all they need to order a key at the dealer.
Fact: only 7 keys are made for each car and stored until needed!!!
Don't: buy a key from e-bay they are useless!
Hope I was some help
