help with speed sensitive steering

My 1998 crew cab silverado has had steering problems with the speed sensitive steering. It would go from extremely easy to steer to very hard. Luckily, this forum helped me replace the EVO sensor (I had an automotive shop do it). It sort of solved the problem; meaning that it no longer goes from easy to hard. Now, it is just normal steering, even at slow speed-where it is suppose to be easy. It is like after the sensor was replaced, I lost the speed sensitive steering. Any Ideas?
