New wheels and tires

Im thinking about some new rims and tires, my friend's dad owns a dealership and can get americaneaglewheel.com wheels for a discount, any on there that you think would look good on my 2002 pewter...it has the ground effects package, i dont know if that would affect the rim size or not. Im thinking 18's... also should i get a wider wheel for better hook up, or would any new tire be good enough for decent hook up?
