Well in the morning after the car has been sitting all night ill crank it up and ill wait 15 seconds and the car will die. Also during that time period, if i let go of the clutch, the car will die automatically. I have to turn it over about 3 times untill the car will stay on. Then i will let it warm up and its fine. The car has 220,XXX miles on it. Could it be a fuel issue or plugs and wires?? If anybody has any suggestions it would be very helpful. Thanks

A few more things to help us out. :) When you let the clutch out in that first 15 seconds, are you talking about in gear trying to move, or just in neutral letting the clutch out? If its the second one, it might be an electronic thing. If its the first one, its probably just that the car isn't "warmed up" yet and doesn't respond well to torque inputs yet. I always marveled at my older carbed cars. It seems like you start them, put them in Drive, and they die. Then you restart, put them in drive and they're fine.
It might just be age and a tired engine, but we might ba able to get closer to the diagnosis. Are there any other things happening? Rough idle, check engine light, noises, was it a sudden thing or gradual over a few months?
I love problems like this. 9 times out of 10 we all answer something like "vacuum leak! vacuum leak!" and it turns out to be a blown fuse :D
