About oil return line (making one)

I have a 1g motor and we all know that the oil return line seems to have probs staying together. I cut it in half and used some power steering hose and clamped both ends, but it seems that the hose can't take that kinda heat and it started to crack. What other kinda hose can i use that is that big and can take the heat?
