ok this is kinda stupid, but id ask you guys, since you are the pro's at what you do =] and i wanna get feedback. so here it is, and dont flame me for it.

i found this black 240sx convertable black top with 115283 miles on it, auto, looks good and the guy selling it says it runs fine. its going for 2700$. nice small car something i can work on.

(exact car for sale)

then this other guy i know, a personal friend, wants to sell me his 2001 mercury cougar. silver, auto everything running fine and 61,000 miles on it. for 4,000. hes rich and doesnt give a fuck what he does.

(like this but silver)

so here are my questions
1) which would be better in terms of reliability, i dont know much bout either car in terms of wear and tear.

2) i know the nissan is 4 cyl RWD and the cougar is 6 FWD. which is better to go for

3) of the 2 which is a better deal?

i hope i can get alot of info about this, i have to make a choice in 2 weeks. im just so confused to which i should get. both are cheap and easy to modify ( im not hardcore like adding turbo's or anything like that right now ) in terms of body/style and whatnot.
lemme know! thnx -mike

go with the cougar (i dont know much about the other car) i know the cougar is a very nice car and its very dependable and has plenty of speed. when you sit down in it and take it for a spin you will know what im talking about.
