2 bolt main question

I have an s10 with a small block and im currently rebuilding the engine, I found out that its a 2 bolt main block and i was concerned about the maximum amount of rpms that can turn with this, im building it pretty steep and the power range for it is going to be 2800-7000rpm, i was wondering what your suggestions would be, if the 2 bolt will be enough, or if i should consider a 4 bolt block, or a 4 bolt conversion, its a 355

I beleive that the 4 bolt will be better and safer for the project u are doing because the 2 will not be able to handle it as well

a 2 bolt main block can easly handle 7000 rpms no problem (assumming it was built right ) but over the course of time a 4 bolt will definatley out last a 2 bolt. spend your money on the crank and rods they have to be good to do 7000 rpms and be reliable
