Gas Mileage

My sister has a '97 Eclipse GS and recently, her car's been eating gas like crazy. I changed her air filter and it's still doing it. Do you guys have any idea what it could be? She has about 90,000 miles on it....don't know if that'll help in the diagnostic or not. Thanks in advance.

Whats it getting MPG wise. Does she drive it hard.

Sounds like it's time for an O2 sensor. You would have to get it scanned and see what the voltage is doing at idle.
