Lately my e brake light is turning on when im driving. It mostly happens when i accelerate, if i slow down it turns off. Is the e brake loose? If so how do i tighten it? Once I tried to take off the center console on my accord 99 but I couldn't find all the screws and didnt want to rip it out.

Sounds like your brake fluid is low. It can be low because of a leak or because your brake pads are worn out. Unless you know the condition of your pads don't just add fluid. Check the pads first.

I will check out my brakes as soon as i can, today I was driving down to college and now theres some wierd squicking sound coming from the car. It only does it when im going 20+mph when im cruising down the freeway it can be heard with the window down. It doesnt get sqeakyer if I brake, it sounds almost like the bearings or axles are squeking.

Your pads are low. If it sounds like metal on metal squealing...it is the brake pad wear indicator...a small strip of metal on your pads that rubs against your rotor to alert you to the fact that your pads are low.

Because they are low, the piston needs to push out further to properly put pressure onto your pad and push it into the rotor to create stopping force. Because the piston is pushed out further, fluid from the resevour has gone down into the brake lines, hence the reserve level is lower. The sensor in this resevour is in the front of the resevour...so when you accelerate, the fluid rushes to the back, and the sensor reads dry and signals your e-brake light to turn on.

Definantly get your pads checked out as it is time for them to get replaced. The sooner the better, as the longer you go with worn pads, the more damage you do to your rotors...and if they get to a certain point, they cannot be resurfaced and need to be replaced....meaning more $$$.
