I have a 2000 Cherokee inline 6 cyl. and have been having random stalling problems. I have replaced the plugs and wires, all o2 sensors, fuel pump and filter, and the Idle Control Valve, and am still having the same problem and still no "check engine" light and no shown codes. Anybody have any hints or thoughts.

My kid had the same problem with his 99. I went to two dealers.
The first had no idea.. The second one did test all the sensors, cam posiiton sensor, o2 sensor, throttle position sensor, fuel pump pressure, and this is what they concluded.
My son put in a "system" and did not upgrade the alternator and the battery was slowing being drained. When drained enough the computer does not have enough juice to properly apply the sensor settings and thus the jeep will die and then not start unless you pump the accelerator and keep it depressed to maintain idle. What was the fix?
New battery, and then I did the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and have not had a problem since. It has been a couple of weeks. My son still needs to get the 120 amp alternator if he wants to hear his system "bump".
Just another possible cause.. Troy
