tech 1 scanner

will a tech 1 scanner work on a 1995 grand am to read abs trouble codes? Thinking about buying one but would like to get whatever info I can from anybody that cares to give it. Would also like to know if it will relieve the gear tension on the abs hydraulic modulator in order to replace it. acoording to books I have read, they keep mentioning the tech one for most eveything. Just not sure if there is more than one???? Thanks everybody

I don't know much about the scanners but you will definatly need to check into the compatability, the 95 Ga's have the original OBDI(does not store the codes like OBDII) not the OBDII that was introduced in 96 so I don't know if you can make adjustments via the read out port.
