Motor mounts

I have a 95 4 door blazer with the 4.3 engine and the motor mounts need to be replaced.
Can anyone give me an idea on the difficulty in doing this. I changed my 84 Silverado mounts with not too much trouble but I am starting to wonder about the S10 as Chevrolet wanted $700 to do the job on the Blazer. Is it $700 difficult like taking the engine half out and full of hidden surprises or is it a pretty much straightforward one day job.
Thanks, Smitty

Not hard at all. You should be able to have enough clearance to loosen them all off including the tranny mount and get enough clearance to jack the engine up enough to replace them right there.

Just a note, before installing the new ones, grind off the ear on the bottom bolt hole facing the front of the truck on both new mounts. This will make it easier to replace in the future without sacrificing the safety feature.

Hope they come off in 2 peices & good luck getting the drivers side back on, you will have to remove stuff for clearance, just about guaranteed

You'll see why when you pull the old one and fight with it
