Trouble Codes

hi...
my check engine light came on, and I heard that if you turn your key on-off-on-off-on, it blinks the error codes, and since my 95 GS isnt OBD-II compatible, I tried it. I got (I'm pretty sure) 4 error codes. Now I have the Haynes Computer Trouble Codes book, and I was wondering if anyone's ever had experience with that book, and can vouch for it's correct-ness. And if not, what code list would you suggest?
in case it matters, my codes with the Haynes book were:
12 - Air flow sensor or circuit
43 - Exhaust Gas REcirculation system (California Models)
53 - Ignition Coil
55 - Idle air Control valve position sensor fault
