I have a 95 ex and was wondering how much it would cost to replace a starter in my car? Mine does not work anymore. I have this one place charging me $120. Does that sound like a deal or not?

thanks

you can get the starter at autozone for about 100 and replace it yourself and then take the core back and get the cost down to about 60...and that was for a bosch reman....the install is really easy, two screws, and it's not that difficult to get too..took me about 1.5hr :) but yeah you'd be alot better off doing it yourself...alot cheaper too

Yea its pretty good i replaced my starter at a Canadian Tire Garage. Had to pay 100$ for the starter and 50$ for labour, but they gave 50$ back for my old starter, so i got free labour :D

120 is not bad at all I used to work at an auto shop and the price there giving is good. You can try installing it your self but most places give you a warrenty that you might not get by doing it on your own also is this a new or remag. starter?
