Talon 5speed swap

My friend and i just completed a 5 speed swap in his automatic 91 talon tsi. anything that could go wrong went wrong but it worked well. it took us a week because of all the problems we were having. if you have any questions about what you need or anything else for this swap post or email me at [email protected]

I think Hes trying to stop these posts actually because he is not asking any questions, he has offered to answer their questions for us. Which I think is a great idea :) maybe they will just email him instead of posting the same damn subject. I hope it works!! :bigthumb:

You may want to do a write up on this swap and hopefully it can be put in the FAQ section or something, that would be a good thing to have, as yes it is asked a lot.

i would have e-mailed you through the thread but said i cant i did have one question about the brake booster i swapped my 1990 eagle from auto to a 5 spd from a 1992 and went through hell but everything works but when i drove it the brakes were on all the time i wasnt sure if the new pedal assembley needed a new brake booster but i adujusted the nut on the pedal seemed to work but did you run into this problem????Also i needed to make a new rod for the clutch cylinder cause it wouldnt disengae the cluch did you have that problem at all???
