Finally got this one cranked out. I never realized how hard it is to photograph a white car, especially when it's cold and rainy outside. Here she is:

Looks great, real clean, did you do anything with the white or is that the mold colour?
Not to be nit-picky, but the gas cap looks a little weird, what happened there?

It's an AMT kit, and yes it did have pretty sucky suspension. It was incredibly fragile, and when I went to put the wheels on, I broke it all to pieces on the passenger side. That's about as straight as I could get it to sit, it's actually a miracle it can hold its own weight, the way it's designed. It'll hold up just fine in a display case, though.
Yeah, about those foglights, the kit didn't come with any! It had white decals, but no lenses. Go figure.
The 1:1 has a billit gas cap, I used aluminum foil (couldn't get my hands on any BMF) It looks fine in person, but wouldn't photograph well.
No, it's not my first kit, it's probably about my 40th. My next major project is a 1969 Camaro convertible curbside with a Corvette interior/chassis stolen from a snap-tite. It'll be done Chip Foose style, as a speedster with big wheels. Or something like that. :lol2: Although, I might be persueded to build an RX-7. About that '03 Cobra....someday, is all I can say about that.

Well, the owner picked up the model today, so no copies of the hood. However, it took me less than an hour to make, and I think I could do it again pretty easily, and probably more accurately.
