Hey, I just got back from autozone. Can somebody tell me what code 1870 is. It said Manuf. Control transmission 1870. I then checked the fluid and it was indeed low. It shifts fine. Help somebody!

DTC P1870 Transmission Component Slipping
Go get your transmission fluid completely flushed out and refilled with a new tranny filter.

According to alldata...
A P1870 indicates that there could have been transmission slippage...
The Vehicle Control Module (VCM) monitors the difference between engine speed and transmission output speed.
In D3 drive range with the TCC engaged, the engine speed should closely match the transmission output speed.
In D4 drive range, with the TCC engaged, the TCC slip speed should be -20 to +50 RPM. The table above indicates solenoid states and transmission components that apply during 4th gear with the TCC commanded ON.
The VCM stores DTC P1870 in VCM history during the second consecutive trip in which the conditions for setting the DTC are met.
Might have been related to low tranny fluid....
Make sure there is no leak, and keep tabs on level......
