1995 Eclipse screetches when wheel is turned

I know the steering boot was busted completely. It was replaced & grease packed in it. They thought this was what was causing that noise. But it still screetches really bad when the wheel is turned. I know whatever it is is on the passenger side front. Any idea what else could be causing this awful noise. It's very obvious, it can be heard outside the car from quite a ways away

I know that power steering pumps have a tendancy to make really nasty noises sometimes. Have you checked you fluid?

Is it a groaning? or a screeching? If it's a groan you probably need fluid or new pump... if it's screeching it's the belt.. replace or tighten existing belt

I had a screetching noise realllly bad and loud I just replaced the belt and it was fixed.
