If I were to lower a 2000 GTS with springs only, do I need a camber kit to achieve normal tire wear? My friend's GTS's tires are JACKED due to the spring only option. Very abnormal tire wear. Would getting struts alone fix the problem. I would like to get a well balanced suspension that is low and performs well w/o spending too much $$$.

I`ve lowered almost every car I have owned with the spring only option and never used a camber kit, just make sure that when you`ve lowered it to get the tracking checked, as this will change when you lower the car, and probably a more likely cause for your friends tyre wear. The only time you have to worry about shocks is when they are either bust or when you lower the car by alot, to stop the shocks from topping out (shorter piston rods, cant remember there propper name) Better shocks will improve the overall ride and are way better than stock, but not necessary.
