Where to get a cuttin mat like this?

I've seen these in a number of WIP threads, and I was wondering if anybody could tell me where to find a cutting surface in th US like this one from Rtuned's 'Onevia' build? And how much do the larger ones cost?

I have been to the local craft stores (AC Moore, Michael's, and even Joanne's Fabrics) and most of them are only about 9"x11". There are some big ones, but they are for the 'rotary' wheel cutters, not regular blades.

Since I can get the smaller ones for like $7 with a 40%-off coupon, with knife of some kind included (One has a regular #11, one has a 'clicker' knife, and one has a really tiny blade), I might just sat F it and live with the small one, but I'd like to know more about the big oneswith the grids on them.

(BTW: AC Moore and Michael's all carry models, Testors paints, airbrushes and compressors, spray paints, and knives and other tools, and all take each other's coupons, and there is almost always a 40%-off coupon in the paper each week.)

I've got one of those, mines like 40 x 28 or something. I got mine for christmas, from a sewing store. They are usually about $40-$50+.

walmart has 25x18 or something like that in the craft's department.

Office Depot or Staples or whatever has them, that's where I've gotten my two. They are 18x12 or so, and are plenty big enough for me. I can't imagine using one any bigger. I think they were around $25. You can also try art supply stores, which will carry them and also wonderful stuff like friskets and various super duper knives and calipers and scales and compasses and... everything. They will be a little overpriced, though.

yep! Office supply stores.
I've got one about the size of a piece of paper, and one about the size of a piece of poster board. The little one stays on my desk while the big one lives in the closet unless I'm doing something huge (think big scale).

Not much use for you guys in the US but for anyone in the UK the discount book shop 'The Works' currently has these.

I got an approximately A3 sized one for £7 a couple of weeks ago.

Hobbylinc.com has mats in stock up to 24x36" (mine's 12x18). They hold up pretty well to hobby knives too.

Again for those in the UK (South East area) I got mine at Hussey and Greaves art shop.
