And what exactly does this have to do with street racing? This forum is for posting stories about street racing, not about asking what car I should buy. Read the stickies.

I know lots of cars with right hand steering that are early 90's models.
And right hand drive isn't European as you put it, since most of Europe is LEFT hand drive.

Ready to 'worshop me'? I know a 1000 cars that are RHD. Just about every car that is sold in RHD countries (examples below) has the steering wheel on the right. This includes European and Japanese cars, though i don't recall ever seeing an American RHD car...

Some RHD countries: UK, Ireland, Australia, Japan, HK, NZ (i think), South Africa, Cyprus, Barbados...

seeing an American RHD car...

Some guys take Chevy Cavalier's and do a RHD conversion using parts from the stock LHD Toyota Cavys. Not factory, but an American RHD when their done.

just buy a old mail truck

I was gonna say the exact same thing. Maybe they would throw in a uniform to go with the truck and some black knee high socks for shorts season.

All you have to do is find a vechicle that was converted for mail delivery. For example, I know someone who has an old Subaru that was used for mail delivery, and now it is a daily driver.

I read an article a few years back about how carmakers made some of their vehicles RHD to be sold as mail delivery vehicles primarily in rural areas. These are not the standard mail trucks but "normal" Fords, Chevys, Chryslers with RHD. In the area where I live I see a Dodge Caravan with RHD that is used on a rural mail delivery route. I would imagine when an older RHD mail car is replaced with a newer one, the old one is sold like any other car.
Got a Hummer you want to convert to RHD? Check out this link:http://www.intercep.co.uk/LHDRHDConversion.htm

I would tell you, but I'm scared of being worshoped. Sounds like something Moppie would do to me.

Our mail man(person?) drives a Subaru Hatchback from the passenger seat. But its not right hand drive. She just has her left foot working the pedals and her left hand on the wheel. Maybe you could save some $$$ and just move yourself to the other seat.

Our mail lady drives a RHD Suburban. They'll prolly be retiring it soon for a new one.

why would they convert a car to "opposite hand drive" to do the mail? what purpose does that serve?

and, drive through banking? that's just lazy.

Yup, in NZ we indeed do drive on the right hand side of the car, as does Singapore and Fiji.

As for RHD American cars........ There's tons of factory RHD Ford Explorers, Ford F250's, Jeeps and Chryslers here as well, same with a few RHD Mustang Cobras (Done by FTP in Australia) and RHD Rams, Vipers, F150's, Silverado's and Tahoes (Done by Walton Special Vehicles in NZ).

Just go through drive thru's in reverse. Idiots.

Better yet, buy a LHD car and drive in reverse everywhere except through drive throughs.

Problem solved.
