Off the wall window question.

Wondering if its possible to swap out an automatic window for a crank. They all work, I'm just thinking in weight aspect... Too much worth for little gain?

Also, I just bought this car. They put some booty alarm on it. It will UNLOCK all the doors, when I turn the alarm off, but doesnt lock them when I turn it on. If its unlocking, shouldnt it lock as well?

Also, the spedometer registered when I test drove the car, it worked fine. Now its not registering speed (1 day later).
The tempature gauge is also not registering (this is when its idling in the driveway, the heat is blowing very warm, no temp reading). Might these problems coincide? Possibly just a loose wire?
