JDM sr20det/transmision

i was wondering if any one knows if the JDM sr20det's pass emisions in arizona.

i also was wondering if a 2000 sentra se transmision will fit in a 1992 se-r with a jdm sr20
my current tanny is verry weak especially my 3rd and 5th and i heard the 2000 trannys are stronger by like 30%
