Couldn't resist posting some pics of my street racing equalizer. Before anyone says anything, yes the tennis shoes are lightweight and just add to the weight reductions and better 1/4 times.... :lol:

Kooks 1 7/8" headers are getting shipped Friday, and the 402ci is getting built next week, and should be here in 2 weeks.

You have a nice pile there yourself!!!! What brand/size injectors are you going with? I've got to upgrade, and I'm looking at a set by Racetronix. I won't have to adapt the fuel rail with theirs as opposed to going with a set for an ls1. Are you still on a stock fuel pump, or are you going to upgrade/already upgraded it? I can't decide between going with a better drop in or doing the fuel cell/inline pump I've been wanting to do.

I wish the ls1s and the ls-style truck engines used the same intake manifold/fuel rail/injector size. If I bought a set of ls1 injectors(which are so much easier to find), I would have to put spacers under the fuel rail to raise it up, then I would have to buy electrical ends for ls1 injectors and replace the ends of my current setup. Oooh pretty bottle! Psh, shoulda gotten a sneaky pete bottle and put it in your glove compartment or something slick. And perhaps they wouldn't see the NX symbols on the braided lines under your hood?

the best mod by far has to be the shoes....with less weight and better aerodynamics those should knock off a half second at least.

Very subtle nitrous bottle. Good luck making it into the 11's.
Those new Gen III small blocks are truly amazing. It makes the 455 in my Olds look like old technology (which it is!). But, you can't buy a truck like that for $2500!
I will get a picture of my parts pile for my '78 Fairmont. Got lots of goodies, Edelbrock Dual quad manifold, MSD ignition, TCI converter, Hurst Shifter, 8.8 posi rear, etc. Just been collecting dust for 8 weeks till I get off on spring break to put her together (the joys of being a college student.... )
Don't get too greedy with your tune, keep her rich and make sure to have enough fuel pump. You probably already heard this, but it never hurts to hear it again.
Weather is warming up, keep us posted with you ET's.
