Neon UnderCarKit install question

I just got myself a neon undercar kit and on the instructions its says that i have put the + wire from the control box to the battery and - to ground. The + wire is really short and would never reach the battery from the inside of my car.
Could i just hook up the + wire to the wire that says BAT right next to Ign1 & Ign2??

prob not might screw around with other crap that needs that power. just extend that wire cant be that hard

yea just get some more wire solder it on then wrap it in electrical tape.

yeah hook up those lights to a switch. i think underground lights are illegal in most states.

Hook the underglow to a switch. For the power source find a empty slot in your fuse box under the dash. attach a spade female connector to the + wire and put it in the slot that you found with a 12v curcuit tester.

Its the color of underground lights that makes them illegal, cannot be "emergency colors" (red or blue)

And its not draining power from other devices than you need to worry about when randomly splicing to get power, you need to worry about drawing too much power through electronics that arent ment to handle it.

Ive messed up some indash electronics this way before and never was able to fix them.
