2003 corolla headlights

I have seen a few corollas where the amber reflector was removed from the headlight and was wondering if anyone knew exactly how to go about doing this. My friend has a 2003 corolla and we are starting to put some work into it.

ok this is what i did

1. first what i did was remove the entire front bumper
2. removed the headlight assembly
3. broke the orange peice in the headlight
4. dropped the peices out through the blinker light hole
5. returned the headlight to the proper area


there is another method that u can do that requires u to put the headlight assembly in the oven and melt the seals, then just pull the thing out.

i didnt do it that way bc i didnt trust it so i just broke and took it out in peices.

Same here, I broke the reflector up with needle nose pliers and removed it through the blinker hole. There are three or four bolts that hold the bumper on (on each side) and three that hold the headlight in.
