Code PO410

i know that the code is for secondary air injection malfunction, which is either the airpump fuse and the pump itself be fried, but when i turn on my car i can hear the airpump working so it cant be the pump? what else can it be? on i side note the code pops up whenever im at WOT, like today when i pushed hard on the gas around 90mph is when i got the code, it seems to me under normal drving the check engine light doesnt come on but if i mash the pedal it does, BTW its for my 96z28

That code isn't for circuits its for the pump itself. Check to make sure when the RPM's rise above 2,850 it shuts off. If you can still hear it , most likely the check valve is damaged. Good Luck
