1997 Electrical problems

Wipers don't function anymore, checked the wiring going to the motor and found power only going to green/white wire which according to Haynes repair manual is "wiper park sw sense" Anyone one know what this means? good or bad thing?
Haynes doesn't really clear up many or my questions.
checked relays, multi function switch and testing wires at the motor. where should I look now?

The wipers are controlled by the BCM and sometimes the fault is in that module. You can try resetting the BCM by disconnecting/reconnecting the battery power for 30+ seconds, then see it your wipers are back to normal.

tried the reset with no luck. some people say bcm, and other are dead against it. i don't know what to do.

Wiper park does exactly what it sounds like. It parks the wiper in the off position. Do you constantly have voltage on that wire? If so, disconnect it and see if the wiper works. If this is not the case, you need to trace your voltage back from the wiper motor and see where you are losing it. From the motor it goes back to the relays. If the relays are not changing state when you switch the multifunction switch, try changing the relay, check the multiswitch again. Don't forget to check all the grounds involved. Especially for your switch.

thank you for repling. I found the problem with the wipers finally. it took me and the shop i use 5 hours to locate it but there it was. seems i wasn't getting switch ground from bcm. funny enough i wasn't even looking for a ground to flip the relay figured it was power from bcm.
after hours of looking at the scammatic and testing. we decided to remove the power distrubution center from under the hood to take a look and found lots of problems there with the wires. seems dodge didn't weather guard the plugs that go into the pdc.all the wires were exposed to the elements. i mean what a mess! corrosion everywhere. repairs 3 wires and wipers were working, i was going to have other problems really soon but we caught it. so to sum up,
we silconed all the bottom of the plugs(that plug into the power distrubution center) to prevent this from happening again

Lucky you. I still have no turn signals and no working wipers. They only work when the washer button is depressed. :(

have you checked the switch (turn signal)
easy to check just need a ohm meter.

Yes, i have checked the switch as well as replaced it after checking. I was hoping it was just a fluke and the ohm meter was incoorect.

I have replaced everything except the wires and bulbs. 2-3 times; hence, all my extra parts. I am seriously broke from buying all these parts and having no resolve.

Be patient with me.....I'm reading the schematic the best I can. The best I can tell..... this is how the multi switch works. The BCM sends a voltage to the switch. The switch comprises of a bunch of resistors that are put in series with each other. what position you have the switch in determines how many resistors are put in series. From here it goes back to the BCM. The more resistors in series the less current back to the BCM. By measuring the current, the BCM knows which functions to make happen. The wipers,washer, and turn signals all have the same return wire back to the BCM. I'm guessing you have a faulty resistor or 2 in the switch and this is causing your problem. I'll print some measuements below for you to test. Please let me now how you make out.
