The first thing you have to do is remove the black air box from under the hood, and detach it from the intake manifold. After that you need to get under the car (I did this without a jack, not recommended) and drop the stone guard off of the bottom, and maybe a bolt or two from the front side of the fender. Pull the lower resonator out from inside the fender. There is a hole where the airbox and resonator attached. Put the cold air intake (without the filter) in place, one end through that hole, one end on the manifold. Attach everything that needs to be attached to secure it, then attach the filter from underneath, through the fender, the same was you removed the resonator. I hope all this makes sense, this is the way I did it. If you don't understand, maybe someone has step by step instructions with pictures. Hope this helps!

thanks a lot for the info, but the real problem is that my cold air intake came disassembled and i don't know how to put that together, i should have included that in my 1st message. so if anyone can help me out, i still got a picture of what my cold air intake looks like disassembled if anyone would like to help me out with what connects where! thanks again and thanks for anyone who wants to take a shot at it.

Just start installing the thing - serioustly, you'll figure out what goes where as you work. I just looked at that picture and counted 11 pieces - you can't mess that up, it's too easy.
No offense but that thing looks pretty cheap, so fitment isn't going to be perfect.

Yeah, he's right, just put it together, it's not hard. What you have there is one of the intakes that can be switched from a cold air intake to a short ram intake, that's why the tubing is in two pieces. The two sleeve things on the left...one is for the tube when it's on the manifold, the other for when you join the two tubes togeter. A bracket goes on each sleeve, then one to hold the intake on. That's pretty much it, from what I can see. Another thing I might recommend, that filter looks crappy, get a K&N filter to put on the intake, they're better quality, and they're washable and reusable.
