2000 Ford Explorer No Heat Defrost Only

Hi,

I have a problem with my 2000 Ford Explorer. No matter what position the selector is in hot air comes out of the defroster only. The floor heat in the back works when the blower is on in the back.

Look for a vacuum leak at the lines going to the switch or the vacuum reservoir under the hood. Happy hunting.

I found the problem. There was a firewall connector on the inside passenger side which had become disconnected. I hope this helps someone else. Thanks
