E-Brake Handle

Sorry if this topic has been brought up allready, I did a search but nothing came up for it. Anyway, I have a new E-Brake handle that I want to install on my 04 Cav. But I dont see how the stock one comes off. And before i try to cut the stock handle off i just want to make sure that there isent a easier way to do this, Thanks for your help.

I took out my whole center console yesterday and didn't figure out how the e-brake came off. There is a little hole just below where the boot slides on, but i couldn't see a screw or anything in it. Try going to the service department of your local chevy dealership and ask for the service instructions.

Your best bet is to go to the nearest auto parts store and see if you can find a Haynes Manual, it will tell you everything you need to know about how to fix everything in your car.
