how much flywheel hp will an ls/vtec setup give me?

Somewhere in the neighborhood of 196hp at the flywheel.

hmm.. thats alot... gots to check out my friends LS/VTEC if he's getting those numbers.

ls pistons have less compression then GSRs so hp maybe less, but torque maybe higher as displacement is slightly higher

with stock internals you will hit around 175-190 at the fly..if you rebuild a lot you can go much higher.
i go around 230-245.
i dynod 222.4whp 149.5ft.lbs....after a lot of work..it was worth it though.
