Hey....I have been in the modd'in mod for some time now...and just can't keep up with it... so here goes....this is a new mod which I fabricated with about 10 extra inches of PVC rubber hose, some fittings and a AC compressor water catcher (Don't know exactly how you call it), you can buy it at Lowes (america), or Home Depot (canada)....What it basically does is 'catch', the oil through the pcv line before it enters your manifold intake....yah, I know that GM put out a new pcv, for people with excessive oil consumption, but you'll still get a little oil trickling through....and this will completely stop it...anyways, I connected the fittings to the catch can (actually piece of glass, about i inch wide, by 3 inches, with connections up top) and then connected the original rubber hose to one end and an additional hose to the other end, the the pcv valve and put everything back together...I didn't see any oil, yet...but after 2 days I saw a couple drops....(I didn't drive alot, though) but we will see in a couple more days....Anyways, it's doing it's job...so....

you do know that the pcv valve needs vaccum to operate correctly right?

This ac compressor allows the air to go through, just the oil drops into the glass container....so no problems....and no oil in your intake.....
