Tranny question

well i just took my transmission apart so i could clean it out and i noticed that i have alot of these little metal half rings attached to my magnet, but my transmission is working fine(except syncrois).Just want to know if i should worry about this and what they are.

When you take apart a tranny to "clean" it you are looking for problems:)
Any metal that is that large is an isue that deserves attention. You should simply flush the trans out, i designed my own tool to flush my manual tranny. When you seperate the two casings of the trans, you have to worry about the shimming being correct still when you replace it.

I am not a tranny expert, but I know this much for sure. If it were me, I would consider taking to a shop now and haing it inspected and the meatal rings identified.

well i figured out it was the Oil gutter plate and changed it but thanks for the info
