ok here is what happened... about 6 months ago my defroster stopped working dont really know why but i just haven't had time to look at it or get it checked out. now about 1 month ago my passenger side "bright" headlight stopped working along with the passenger side front amber. Also shortly after that my passenger blinker stopped blinking. It lights up when i push the directional stick inside the car but it wont actually blink. it just stays on. I have a 2000 firebird with the v-6. My best guess is that there is something wrong with the actual wiring and perhaps its a short because i checked all the fuses and they are ok. If anyone has any information on what it might be please feel free to share it with me. Im afraid to take it to the dealer ship cause i dont want to know how much they want to charge. thanks for the help

My guess would be a faulty flasher or switch or bad ground issue. Good Luck.

Hi
I had a problem almost just like this. My lights would go dim the car just didnt seem to be running right. I had all the mechaincal parts checked with nothing found so I knew it had to be electrol. I took it to a shop here that does nothing but works on electrol things and come to find out there was a wire near the battery that had been messed up by some acid from the battery and it was added alot of resitestion which was causing my lights to be dim and not being able to run everything at once. So get your wiring checked out look for wire burnt or what not, it only cost me about75 dollars for them to re do the wiring and then they also fixed my dimmer switch which is what controls going from birght to dim so your may also need to be adjusted.
Hope this helps
