You should mount that camera on the inside of the car the next time you go to a track. I like the in-car views pretty well.

I wished I had a digital video camera. I'd love to get a video of me racing this season to put up here.

Did you get a Transmission swap in that beast?,I thought Firebirds and Camaros come only with a 4-speed automatic.....if they do there damn rare because every firebird or Camaro i see is a 4-speed

4th Gen F-body's came in either 4 speed Auto or 6 speed manual. There were way more auto than stick though.

Like Formula said, you could get either. Mine came stock with the M6.

Plans are already made. Should be adding 125 RWHP and 140 ft/pounds here within 3-4 months. No power adder of any kinda either. Will be all motor.

Stock for stock....The Firehawk is probably a hair quicker. Really depends on the drivers.

Mr. Lous, could you do me a favor, and outline all the different Pontiac versions of the FBody. With WS6, Firehawk, Formula, and all the other ones, I get confused which is which.

Maybe I can help(Im more of a Gen1 firebird lover). But I think this is how it is.

Formula is the base Ls1/Lt1 V8.
WS6 Is the hood scoop option on the Trans Am(in the eighties I believe it was a handling packadge).
FireHawk a tuner packadge made by SLP.(made in the mid 90s)

Ok I think I can cover this. If I can't I will be shocked.

Formula- Has Body panels of Base firebird with Powertrain of Trans AM.

Trans Am- Different Front end, come with fogs lights and usually is more well equipped with powr options than a Formula and has LT1/LS1 vs the Base Firebirds V6 (this only apply's to 4th Gens).

WS.6- Could be Trans Am or Formula. Has modifications such as Hood/Intake and suspension.

Firehawk- Assembled by SLP. Also could be Formula or Trans AM. Came in a couple different levels of modification.

To borrow the works of the great "Steve the Pirate" Gar...

Add a slightly better flowing exhaust, and that about sums it up.

And the Firebird/Formula's had fog lights, they are just underneath the headlights. The Trans Am has them under the nostrils, right next to the license plate.

My bad, the fog light issue only apply's to LT1's. LS1's do have fog light's as Luos mentioned.
