i think i have bad luck, because i never seem to be able to get into a race or finish one, like that time i had a run-in with a modded v6 altima.

i'm only saying this because tonight i saw some dude in a ma70 supra sitting at a light; i was going to turn around in a gas station and go after him (we looked at eacheothers cars as i passed by) but i would have had to make a sharp turn and there was a state trooper RIGHT NEAR the entrance to the gas station.

what am i doing wrong? the kid with the mr2 that i raced in january gets a shitload more races than i do. :wtf: [/rant]

Same shit used to happen to me when I was out looking for a race, then I stopped looking every friday night and got my first real race and even stopped to talk to the guy twice. I bet if you wait another month things will pick up because of the wheather. Also just be on the lookout, a good race will present itself when you least expect it.

I know this may sound strange, butgo out looking on Sunday afternoon. I got alot of races yesterday which suprised the hell out of me. Haha I even got some 82 year old guy in I think he said an 86 cutlass race me with his wife in the car.

Haha, no he didn't do any ricer fly by. It was a race perse, more or lesspress on the gas get a car length ahead than the other does the same thing. It was fun, both of us were laughing and having a good time. Prolly did it to scare the old ball and chain.

Hey dude its all good. Even though its hard for you to find a race at least you don't talk lots of crap like other people.

Plenty of people out there sit at a redlight take off fast and then claim they've beat vettes, supras, and everything else with their 100 hp car.

I doubt he 'smoked' it unless it was an auto. But I don't know what he has done to his RX-7. The auto gt-s w/ sequencial shift runs 17's.. the 6-speed runs high 14's (if driven correctly).

yeah right i couldnt keep up with a celica gt-s ( i was just chasing him in sparse traffic) , my car is stupidly stock and horribly slow at the moment (i think its a high 15/low 16 sec car) its only 150hp (non-turbo for now). but hey i can beat mustang v6's and lower hondas. :loser:

well u could beat the auto gt-s according to those numbers, and the celica gt is slow as dirt.

not as slow as the ST, my gf's bro has a 93 ST 5 speed and we are about equal
