Fires but won't start

I have a 240 DL fuel injected engine. It well crank and fire sometime but wont start. I've had it running acouple of times but when you step on the gas dies.
Their's a injector on the riders side of the intake plentum and it has power when you turn on the key. When you crack the fitting on the fuel line on it, it has lots of fuel pressure.
