Trunk CD player in 99' SE

While installing my old fm modulated 6 disc changer in the trunk of my new/used 99' taurus SE and after routing the cable and going to autozone to get the radio keys to pull the radio.....NO ANTENNA lead on the radio!! Oh I see...the brains of the radio are in the trunk!!! Back to autozone to get an antenna adapter no luck.Found a dual set of adapters at wal-mart that worked.The only problem I have is that the controller is only long enough to reach the driver's seat adjustment but that will have to do.I do have one question.This sanyo changer has a constant and a switched hot wire. I found a constant hot wire (yellow/red) but could not find a switched hot wire unless I missed one.I noticed that ford uses (black/green) as ground. Is there a "switched" hot wire connected to the radio in the trunk and what color is it? Thanks for any help.

I know there's a switched hot wire behind the radio panel that's blue, I don't know if it goes to the trunk or not.

Where did you find pre-wiring in trunk? Can't seem to locate mine.

I think its the blue with white stripe but let me check.I also think its an antenna wire that is not used in my car since it does not have an auto antenna.

I have the constant hot wire to the cd changer spliced into the big red/yellow wire coming out of the left connector on the trunk mounted radio.I have the switched hot wire to the cd changer spliced into the dark brown/black with a magenta stripe wire coming from the wires hanging up near the antenna in the trunk.This wiring group has a connector at the end but it is not connected to anything.If you need more help just ask. jeff

but some things work for the other tauruses.there is a wiring diagram on this page somewhere...i'll get it for ya.
