Useless friends!

Alright, here's the situation......
About 6 months ago a good buddy of mine comes to me with a sob story about how he needs cash and the only thing of value he's got is his 1/4 restored 69 mustang. He BEGS me to buy it off him so he knows that it will be taken care of untill he can buy it back. SO....as one guy doing another a solid, I bite the bullett (figurativley speaking) and buy the damn thing. Not that its a bad looking vehicle mind you, BUT I have no use for a non-running pile of bolts. Well long story short, the guy gets married and a few months go by. I ask the guy "when do you want your baby back?" HE FUCKING TELLS ME THAT HE SOLD IT TO ME AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY INTENTIONS OF BUYING IT BACK. He tells me that he no longer wants that "old" part of his life and his new bride ( or bitch-zilla, as I like to call her) wants to save up for some new damn dining room furniture.....I could just choke the living shit out of this guy!!!!! So at what point do I stop kicking myself? I ended up selling his SHITBOX to a guy for 1/2 what I gave to my former friend....I could just scream, but it won't get me anywhere :banghead:
So now I'm out MONEY and a good friend... AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!

If he actually gave you a good deal, you might try selling it on ebay, and try to get your money back.

That really freakin sucks. Should've parted it out on ebay, but nothin you can do now.
Steal the dipshits new car, beat the shit out of it with sledgehammer, and then offer to sell it back to him for twice what he bought it for :)

Never buy/sell cars with friends, if you want to remain friends. Selling cars is a sure fire way to ruin a friendship.
That being said, I have bought several cars from one particular friend of mine - the difference being is that he only sells stuff that he has lost interest in, so its cheap.
Lesson learned, don't be such a nice guy. Buy it for less. Plead poverty. If he wants it back, then sell it back at the bargain price you bought it for. Otherwise, you end up with a sweet deal.

Thanks for letting me vent on this guys...
And as for the steel toe kick scenario...Lets just say the guys bitch-zilla had those removed when she moved her shit in and put his out by the road! A kick would have done nothing...He's become quite the wife in that family.....

Easy - work out how much he owes you and do exactly that much damage to his car.
Then have sex with his wife.

Seriously? I don't have an obsession. I just love that look on a womans face when you accidently scream out her sisters name just before you come on her face. :)
At this point in the conversation, I will refer you back to our recent PM conversation. I would also ask that you keep it confidential.

Where is this mustang and how much are you asking. The guy I work for is looking to build one. Also he is better off not being your friend. I have had some good friends become worthless. Especially recently.

Sorry to disappoint Cowboy...long since sold. But I'll keep you in mind if anymore of my buddies decide to ditch their car for a chick! (kinda wishin my brother would hurry up and marry his girlfriend..He's got a SWEET Nova project thats' almost done! )

Man I'd ditch a chick for a car most of the time. LOL. Thanks. I don't see a penny I make from work since my boss is a long time friend he buys the cars I pay for parts and his crew to build them since I am in school and working I dont have time to do it myself.
